The North Central CTE Cooperative is excited to announce that one of our Health Careers Instructors, Kathy Berg, was recently honored as being one of 19 recipients of the inaugural President's Award for Excellence in Dual Credit Instruction at Ivy Tech Community College! Kathy was selected as the Ivy Tech Valparaiso Campus recipient for being the outstanding dual credit faculty member for this campus. Kathy was recognized at a ceremony and dinner at Black Iris Estates in Carmel, Indiana on June 8th. This honor represents significant teaching and academic accomplishments. Kathy has been instructing Health Careers courses for the North Central CTE Cooperative for 13 years, and she has taught at both Knox and Plymouth High Schools. Kathy is the program director for the CNA Program within this cooperative.
Jennifer Felke, North Central CTE Director is extremely proud of Kathy and this accomplishment but more so for her commitment and dedication to the students who Kathy teaches and prepares for careers in the medical field. Kathy is employed by the Marshall County Lifelong Learning Network. Thank you Kathy for all you do!
