
Applied Engineering (Industry 4.0)
Applied Engineering (Industry 4.0) is a two year program that walks students through the design, manufacturing, control, and automation process from start to finish. Students will learn the basics of Computer-Aided Design (CAD), both additive (3D Printers) and subtractive manufacturing (CNC). Students will learn the basics of controlling these processes using items like pneumatic controls and robotic arms. Students are eligible for dual credit as well as a variety of SACA certifications. This program boasts a pass rate in certifications that is above the national average and provides unique opportunities for students to experience local businesses as part of internships and our IGNITE program with partners such as Universal Bearings, ITAMCO, and SpiTrex.
